Breckenridge

No person shall park, place or leave any vehicle on any street or avenue in the City of Breckenridhttps://ecode360.com/8911696?highlight=&searchId=7332839123004105e, MN, on any day between November 1st—April 1st, in between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Whenever the parking of such vehicle on such street or avenue will interfere with street cleaning or snow removal, Police will tow any and all vehicles that are parked on the streets in violation of the ordinance. Fargo

New this season: Seasonal restrictions specific to night parking (1 a.m. to 7 a.m.) will no longer be enforced in the area from 19th Avenue North to 13th Avenue South and from the Red River to 25th Street North and South. Signs related to those restrictions have been removed. (This change does not apply to year-round parking restrictions in Downtown Fargo.) The City Commission approved the change at its last meeting, and the updated ordinance will take effect Wednesday, November 5, 2025. The change comes after City staff reviewed the parking restrictions and determined that the seasonal restriction limiting parking to one side of the street in posted areas sufficiently supports snow removal and public safety operations. Residents are reminded to follow all posted parking signs. Seasonal parking restrictions will be actively enforced, especially during snow events. Fergus Falls

Winter parking requires you to move vehicles from streets to allow for plowing, typically within 24 hours of a snow event or from 2 AM to 6 AM. More Info

Moorhead

The City of Moorhead can issue a Snow Removal Declaration after heavy snow fall has taken place. During this declaration, special parking rules take effect in designated Snow Removal Districts that allow the City to tow cars in order to fully plow roads and provide safe travel for emergency vehicles. All roadways affected by the Snow District parking restrictions are posted with these signs (left). More Info

It shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave standing a vehicle on any street during a snow emergency. This parking restriction shall be in effect until snow has been cleared from the street to the full width or until the Public Works Superintendent has declared the snow has been adequately removed.
